Notes

This ride is intended for riders that are new to group riding and just starting out on their cycling journey. It is intended to introduce the new rider to the skills required to safely ride in groups and get familiar with bike handling. The ride itself is always conducted at the pace of the slowest rider and we ensure that there is more experienced riders to assist those who are new!

If you are not a current member (eg you are planning on joining soon and want to ‘try out’ a bunchie) please contact the committee either via the club FB page or email secretary1@northernsydneycyclingclub or just turn up on Saturday morning ready for the 6:30AM departure and introduce yourself!

In addition:

• Do not turn up if you have experienced respiratory symptoms or if they have had contact with anyone with coronavirus in the last 14 days
• Follow social distancing rules when not riding
• Be self-sufficient in terms of food and drink.

Meet at the Hornsby Pool Bus Stop for the 6.30am departure (7am in winter months). Ride will follow the same route as Le Reve but turns at the McCarrs roundabout and typically stops at Tastebuds at Terry Hills for Coffee with the LeReve Group.

Attire: Club kit is expected to be worn on this ride, however if you are new and want to check out what it is all about then come down and come for a ride with us – no club kit is necessary for your first few rides.

50KM APPROX

TEMPO | 22-27KPH AVG

Anyone is most welcome to join the club rides but please be aware that you are responsible for your own safety when riding. Bring lights if needed and your common sense. Riders in bunches will always have the safety of every member in the bunch as a main concern.
